Advanced Course (TGO/TBC, Survey Controller/Access)
It is assumed the attenders have intermediate to advanced GPS skills with
some comprehensive field experience or the training equivalent. The class will include three field
exercises and will explore the use of different GPS Survey methods including
Post-Processing and RTK along with RTK/Infill and Dual Base techniques as
well the use of CORS stations and the OPUS system.
There will be detailed
discussion of Project Templates, File Management, Survey Controller/Access
operations/DC editing, Coordinate Systems (Grid/Ground), Site Calibrations,
Roading/Alignments, and Feature Coding along with many other advanced
issues. TGO/TBC will be covered in great detail and
attendees are encouraged to bring their questions for the instructor to
examine and share with the class. Laptop computers are welcome.
